The former Woodville-West Torrens player was an important part of the 1995 Richmond surge, but fell away after that. A foot injury hampered him, but he seemed to have lost his aggression at the ball being often caught out for pace. He was not a regular senior player in 1997 and was traded to Collingwood as part of the swap for Aaron James. He struggled to gain a regular place at a time when the Magpies were concentrating on blooding youngsters. Represented SA in 1996.
