A big, strong player from West Perth who became a key component of the Eagles' teams of the 2000s. He did a good job in the 2006 premiership win with three goals, and headed the club's goalkicking, his long kicking being a standout. He had an even better return in 2007 with 52 goals and had his best season in 2008 when he ran second in the best and fairest. He ran fourth in the 2009 best and fairest, but his form was inconsistent in 2010 and he was omitted three times. He moved to Collingwood for the start of 2013, but after a good start - including a heroic rucking performance against Carlton - had an inconsistent debut season with the Magpies.
