An athletic key position player who can be used at either end of the ground. He arrived at the club after a growth spurt saw him morph from a midfielder into a makeshift ruckman during his final years with Swan Districts in Western Australia.

Gault looms as an intriguing prospect on the eve of his fourth season at the club, having debuted in the final round of 2014 and not looked out of place up forward.

Delisted at the end of 2013, Gault was able to make inroads on the rookie list, kicking 13 goals in the VFL after damaging his collarbone earlier in the season, eventually breaking through for a debut against Hawthorn in the final round.
