An ex-East Fremantle player who was a highly sought after draft pick when Brisbane selected him.

He never really clicked at Brisbane, but was a better player during his time at Collingwood.

He possessed lightning pace and was deadly in front of goals, kicking 33 goals and earning five Brownlow votes in 1993, a haul that included six goals against Sydney in round 15.

Rowe kicked nine goals in 12 games in 1995 and did not reappear after round 15, after which he moved to Fremantle where he played eight games before leaving at the end of 1996.
