The Collingwood Football Club Museum is finally open to the public!

Housed in our Club HQ at the AIA Centre at Olympic Park, the Museum includes a mix of permanent and rotating exhibitions showcasing the players, people and magical moments that have made Collingwood the biggest and most famous football club in the country. Displays include historical artefacts dating back to the Club's earliest days, jumpers, boots and other personal gear from plenty of our Magpie champions and the souvenirs that fans have made their own over the years.

There are three different video screens, a theatrette showing extended highlights and video pieces, as well as an interactive table that allows you to call up details on every player who's played for the Club, and every match we've ever played.

Highlights include:

  • All our Premiership cups;
  • Exhibitions devoted to fan souvenirs and memorabilia;
  • A special tribute to our spiritual home of Victoria Park;
  • Hall of Fame area where we celebrate our greatest players;
  • A tribute to the most feared and famous guernsey in Australian football;
  • Celebrations of the legendary Machine teams of the 1920s, and our current AFLW stars;
  • Video screens, interactive elements ... and much more!

New items are being added all the time, and some areas change regularly to celebrate different themes and anniversaries.

So next time you're coming to watch training, or to make a request at Reception, make sure you check us out. We have taken over the entire foyer space near the Reception desk at the main entrance. In this way we're a very modern museum: not stuck away in a separate room, but very much part of the daily working space of a great sporting club. It's free, and you can wander around any time when Reception is open, which is usually 9am-5pm most weekdays, and before games on matchdays. We don't have tours yet, but that is something we hope to offer in the future.

So come celebrate the history, stories, moments and people that have made us who we are. We'll see you at the Collingwood Museum!
