The Collingwood Football Club Archives Committee is a volunteer group that meets weekly. The group works to help preserve and celebrate the history and heritage of the Collingwood Football Club by:
- managing and growing the club's collection of memorabilia;
- organising displays;
- promoting the club's history;
- answering queries from members and the public; and
- carrying out research.
If you would like to donate any items, or you have something you'd like to know more about, we'd love to hear from you.

Donations
The Collingwood Football Club has an extensive collection of memorabilia relating to players, fans and the club. This includes records, trophies, personal player memorabilia, important historical artefacts, paper-based ephemera such as letters and menus, cigarette and trade cards, photos, badges, membership tickets, souvenirs and much, much more.
We're always on the lookout for more items to add to our collection. So if you have
anything Collingwood-related that you no longer want, please contact us. Even if you don't think it's a valuable item, we'd still love to hear from you.
Too many wonderful items have been thrown out over the years. If those items come to the Collingwood Archives then they'll be looked after, insured and hopefully can feature in one of our many displays.
Past Players
We're always particularly keen to hear from former players or their families, whether with information about the player's career or memorabilia relating to it. We can also provide advice on looking after any memorabilia you might have.
Sales of books, Social Club medallions and Season Tickets
To help raise funds to support the activities of the Archives, we have available for sale a number of Collingwood books, and also a range of Collingwood Social Club medallions and season tickets. The books include titles such as:
- The Machine (2016 edition)
- In Black and White (2017)
- Collingwood at Victoria Park (limited stock remaining)
- The Barrackers Are Shouting
- The Mightiest Magpies (limited stock remaining)
We also have Social Club medallions from the 1970s-through to the current day (not all years but many), and season tickets from the 1950s onwards (again, not all years).
We are hoping to set up an online shop to facilitate these sales at some stage, but until then if you're interested in obtaining any of those books, or filling gaps in your collection of Social Club medallions or season tickets - and supporting the work of the Archives at the same time - please contact us at
[email protected] and we'll see if we can help.
