COLLINGWOOD WITHOUT A LEACH. BY OLD BOY. It is many a long day since Collingwood took the field without one member of the Leach family, but on Saturday all three were absent. Fred, the great centre man, after considering the matter, has decided to keep out of the bumps and bruises and give the game up, while the other brothers - Arthur and Ted - were not well on Saturday. Substitutes had also to be found for Rowell, who has resigned from the club, and G. Lockwood. It was a scrambling game, in which St. Kilda had agreat deal to say, and out of which Collingwood emerged with only seven points to the good. For Collingwood, Allen (who beat Smith on the wing), Pannam, Tulloch, Hailwood, Tame, M'Cormack, Boyack, and Monahan were the best, and for St. Kilda, B. Sandford, Mullancy, J. Smith, M' Kay, V. Robertson, Markellie, Baker (who kicked three goals), M' Namara, and Trevillan did good work.
